Canes travel to Palouse short handed but still deliver the
thunder their 5th lose and possible last season game. With Hermiston offense and defense hitting all cylinders

Hermiston takes the Sting out of the Game.
With only half the squad traveling for the Sting, the Hurricanes take advantage of limited staff from the visiting team and pound the ball down the field. The game plan worked. In the first possesion the Canes took the ball to the endzone via ground game and never looked back. Canes defense once again showed up to play as they allow no scores. Next week will be a test as the Canes travel to Wenatchee to take on the tied for number one spot Wenatchee Valley Rams, who won today to keep their record the same as the Canes at 4-1.

Canes running games to much for Shockers
Hermiston defense makes the stops as the offense proves they can
move the ball on the ground. Now if they hit all eight cylinders,
 WFL watch out.

Hermiston's hurricane not so strong in season opener.

The first game is always a learning game and a game were many mistakes
will be made. It was that exactly that made the hurricanes drop their first
game to one of the top WFL teams, Yakima Mavericks.
